Tesla has officially announced that preparations for the rollout of its Full Self-Driving (FSD) Beta in China are currently in progress.
This development comes from a CLS CN reporter’s inquiry (via @ray4tesla) to Tesla about the launch, and follows recent speculations sparked by changes in Tesla’s online manuals in China.
Although the company has not provided a specific timeline for the FSD Beta release, some suspect the debut might align with the release of FSD beta 12, which possibly might debut in December or January 2024.
Tesla North recently obtained screenshots from a Chinese source indicating the feature in Tesla’s online manual for the Chinese market, which were later removed. This brief appearance of FSD Beta information in the Model S owner’s manual had fueled speculations among Tesla owners and industry watchers. Currently, FSD beta remains only in Canada and the U.S.

Back in April, a report claimed Tesla was getting ready to launch FSD beta in China. For now, we can only wait to see what will happen next. FSD beta in its current form is not perfect in our tests but is getting better over time.
