Tesla has made pricing adjustments to some of its vehicle models in the United States and Canada.
In the U.S., the price of the Model X Plaid has been increased by $5,000, or 5.6%, bringing the new price to $94,990.
Conversely, in Canada, Tesla has reduced the prices for the Model 3 and Model Y as of October 19, 2023.
Model 3 (lowered by $1,000)
- RWD: Price reduced from CAD 54,990 to CAD 53,990
- Long Range: Price reduced from CAD 64,990 to CAD 63,990
- Performance: Price remains at CAD 73,290
Model Y (lowered by $2,000)
- RWD: Price reduced from CAD 59,990 to CAD 57,990
- Long Range: Price reduced from CAD 69,990 to CAD 67,990
- Performance: Price reduced from CAD 76,290 to CAD 74,290
These price changes should theoretically drive more demand in Canada for Tesla’s fourth quarter, as both Model 3 and Model Y qualify for provincial rebates and the federal iZEV rebate as well.
