Tesla Milestone: 1 Million Cars in Europe
Tesla hit a new milestone today, achieving 1 million cars on the roads in Europe.
“14 years ago, we delivered the first Tesla Roadster to customers in Europe,” said Tesla. “Today, we hit 1 million Tesla vehicles on the road across Europe.”
Currently, Tesla sells the Model S, Model X and Model 3 and Model Y in Europe. The Model 3 and Model Y are coming from Giga Shanghai and Model Y also from Giga Berlin.
“Thanks to our owners & supporters for helping us accelerate the transition to sustainable energy!”, said Tesla on Friday.
Tesla is set to launch its Cybertruck deliveries on November 30, 2023. It’s going to take the company some time to ramp up according to Elon Musk, so it may be a while before Cybertruck makes its way to Europe, as it is being made at Giga Texas.
