Shanghai Port Shows New Tesla Model 3 Cars Headed to Europe [VIDEO]
We have a new video from YouTube channel Wu Wa showing the massive scale of new Model 3 vehicle deliveries headed to Europe to start Tesla’s fourth quarter.
“The Chinese user’s order may be in the new Model 3, and the new Model 3 in China to start delivering there is no specific time,” said Wu Wa. Currently, all Highland Model 3 production at the Shanghai plant is designated for the European market.
Despite restrictions on drone usage preventing aerial photography of the Shanghai factory, Wu Wa noted that the factory’s activity could still be gauged by the continuous transport of Teslas to and from Shanghai Southport. “In the aerial photo of Shanghai Southport, the site is still occupied by Teslas, which are constantly being transported away and replenished,” the report stated.
On the shipping front, Wu Wa observed the UNDINE ship at Shanghai South Harbor, which was not loading Teslas but transferring cars of other brands. As of October 11, the ship had already left for ECSUC, while a Panamanian roll-on/roll-off ship was approaching Shanghai South Harbor.
In additional data, the Tesla Model Y led the sales list of luxury brands in September, with over 53,000 units delivered, according to the China Federation of Passenger Transportation.
Wu Wa also highlighted that Tesla launched the Model 3 Refreshed Edition at the end of the third quarter and upgraded the production line at its Shanghai Super Factory. “It is expected that in the fourth quarter, Tesla will not only deliver the Model 3 Refreshed Edition in large scale, but also usher in a further increase in production capacity on the basis of the upgraded production line,” Wu Wa concluded.
Check out the video below–the number of new Model 3 refresh vehicles at the port is staggering, yet again:
