
Tesla has just released price cuts for its Model 3 and Model Y electric vehicles in the United States. The price drops come as Tesla is starting its fourth quarter.
Below are the specifics of the price cuts in USD (via @Tslachan):
Model 3 Price Cuts
- Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD): $38,990 (was $40,240; discount of $1,250 or 3.1%)
- Long Range (LR): $45,990 (was $47,240; discount of $1,250 or 2.6%)
- Performance (Pf): $50,990 (was $53,240; discount of $2,250 or 4.2%)
Model Y Price Cuts
- Long Range (LR): $48,490 (was $50,490; discount of $2,000 or 4%)
- Performance (Pf): $52,490 (was $54,490; discount of $2,000 or 3.7%)
As you can see, the biggest discount was for the Model 3 Performance and Model Y Long Range at 4.2% and 4% drops, respectively.
Both the Model 3 and Model Y qualify for federal tax credits in the U.S., up to $7,500 available.
