Tesla announced today a software update will soon make your vehicle more visible in the event of a crash.

The company shared a video today showing hazard lights flashing much faster than normal, should your car be in a crash and the airbags go off, indicating more than just a fender bender.

“If an airbag is deployed, hazard lights will automatically activate & flash faster to improve visibility,” said Tesla on Tuesday. “Update now rolling out to all US Model 3 & Y as well as S & X (2020 & newer)”, said the automaker.

We’re wondering if Tesla will eventually supporter older Model S and Model X vehicles as well, if this is just being initiated through a software update.
