Tesla has added a new referral program award just in time for its newest product debut: Cybertruck.
Well, it’s not exactly a free Cybertruck (that would be insane) but it’s a ‘Cybertruck Delivery Event Invite’, as shown by Zack (@BLKMDL3).
The award costs 30,000 credits to redeem. Tesla owners referring a Model 3/Y sale get 10,000 credits per car, while a Model S/X sale gets 20,000 credits per car. The award details read:
Redeem referral credits for an invitation to the upcoming Cybertruck Delivery Event in Austin, Texas. Invites are first come, first served and are vâlid for you and one friend. Travel and accommodation are not included. If you miss your chance to claim, check back later-additional tickets will be released as the event approaches.
Limit 1 per Tesla Account. Must be 18 years or older to redeem. All attendees must pass security screening for admittance and are subject to event terms and conditions.

So you get an invite and you get take a friend as well. It’s limited to 18 or older to redeem and you need to pay your own way to Tesla’s headquarters at Giga Texas in Austin.
Tesla last said its Cybertruck delivery event will take place sometime in Q3, which will come to a close at the end of September.
Earlier today, Tesla CEO Elon Musk hyped up Cybertruck by sharing a picture of a release candidate, while replying to a query about when pricing, features and delivery dates will take place, only to say they will come when the company is ready to announce them.
We saw earlier saw first pictures of ambient lighting spied inside the Cybertruck and also a view of its front bumper camera view.
For example, it costs 5,000 credits to redeem for Model S All-Weather Interior Liners, which cost $250 USD. So 30,000 credits would be worth at least $1,500 USD, for one of these Cybertruck delivery event invites that includes a guest (they’re not showing as an option in Canada).
