Tesla has announced the launch of the Model S and Model X Plaid in Macau, China.
According to Tesla late yesterday, Plaid versions of the Model S and Model X are now available to check out in showrooms in the former Portuguese colony and Special Administrative Region (SAR) in China. Some beautiful photos were shared of the vehicles parked in front of classic architecture in Macau:

These Model S and Model X vehicles are made at Tesla’s factory in Fremont, California, then shipped overseas. We see the vehicles are left-hand drive, despite the island having driving on the left-side lanes, due to their colonial heritage.
Tesla’s website says all Model S and Model X vehicles are delivered left-hand drive to Macau. That’s because Tesla axed production of right-hand drive back in May.
Tesla’s website shows the Model S has an estimated delivery date of Q3 2023, while the Model X doesn’t list an estimated delivery date in Macau.
