French Retailer Fnac Cuts Starlink Kits to $199 Euro, Save 56%
Retailer Fnac in France has cut the price of SpaceX’s Starlink kit by 56%, taking it down to 199.95 EUR, saving customers 250 EUR off the regular price of 449.99 EUR.
The Starlink kit is needed to connect to SpaceX’s satellite internet constellation. The kit includes a satellite dish and also modem and wireless router.
Fnac says these discounted kits will ship on July 17, 2023, as of writing.
Currently, in France, Starlink service is on sale at 40 EUR per month.
At 11:58 p.m. ET on Sunday, July 9, SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket successfully launched 22 Starlink satellites from Cape Canaveral’s Space Launch Complex 40 in Florida. This marked the 16th mission for this first stage booster, having previously been used in several other missions, including Crew Demo-2, ANASIS-II, CRS-21, Transporter-1, Transporter-3, and eleven other Starlink missions.
