Tesla’s record-breaking second-quarter delivery figures suggest that the company’s strategic price cuts are effectively driving sales in both the US and international markets.
However, there are ongoing concerns about the potential impact of these cuts on the company’s profit margins. Additionally, the second quarter also saw Tesla benefit from federal support, as all trims of its Model 3 and Model Y became eligible for the full $7,500 federal tax credit in the U.S.
Tesla also announced that its financial results for Q2 2023 will be posted after market close on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, with a live Q&A to take place at 5:30pm ET.
