Tesla has shared a short video on Monday, highlighting its powerful Supercharger network. This network integrates seamlessly with Tesla vehicles, which automatically route directions and calculate charging times needed on road trips.
According to Tesla employee William, who works for Site Engineering, he explains Superchargers are mainly intended for longer distance travel, calling them “also important for peace of mind.”
Why? That’s because the current uptime for the network is over 99%, at an incredible 99.95% specifically.
“We also have a very large service organization that is responsible for in real time monitoring all of the equipment across the network and going out and fixing things constantly from component replacements to firmware and software upgrades,” explained William.
“All of our sites are 24/7 accessible. It’s super important for driving forward EV adoption,” he concluded.
