Previously, the Model Y AWD started at $47,490 USD, but it has increased by $250 to $47,740 USD. The vehicle still is eligible for a full $7,500 federal tax credit.
The price of the Model Y Long Range and Performance remains unchanged. Estimated delivery dates for the Model Y AWD also increased, now showing July-August 2023 (was June-July).
For Tesla to increase the price, it could be a sign of increasing demand for the Model Y, which has become the world’s top-selling vehicle in numerous markets.
This is the first price change we’ve seen for the Model Y in June. Existing orders should not be affected by the price increase.
