Tesla CEO Elon Musk to Speak at EEI 2023 Conference
Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk has been announced as one of the key speakers for the final day of the EEI 2023 conference. The event will run from Sunday, June 11 to Tuesday, June 13, at the JW Marriott in Austin, Texas.
“EEI 2023’s Tuesday morning keynotes will conclude with a discussion from renowned technologist and engineer, Elon Musk. From electric transportation to space travel, energy storage, and much more, Musk is leading radical change across the global business and technology landscape,” is how EEI describe’s Musk’s upcoming keynote, in an email to Tesla North.

Other notable figures set to speak at the event include Bill Gates, Founder of Breakthrough Energy, who will discuss with EEI Chair Warner Baxter, and U.S. Secretary of Energy Jennifer M. Granholm, alongside Senior Advisor to the President for Clean Energy Innovation and Implementation, John Podesta, in conversation with EEI Vice Chair Maria Pope.
The conference also features sports and military leadership perspectives. Deion Sanders, Two-time Super Bowl Champion and Head Coach of the University of Colorado Buffaloes, will converse with Entergy Group President, Utility Operations Rod West. Meanwhile, Admiral William H. McRaven, U.S. Navy Retired, is set for a discussion with Mark Updegrove, President and CEO of the LBJ Foundation.
But it is Musk’s presence that will likely headline the event. In conversation with EEI Vice Chair Pedro J. Pizarro, Musk is poised to share his innovative thinking and discuss the radical changes he’s initiating across numerous industries. The Tesla CEO recently returned back home from his first trip to China in three years. Rumors of Musk unveiling a Model 3 refresh on his final day in China never came true.
