Apple Music customers trying to access the streaming music service in Tesla vehicles recently reported a frustrating issue that caused it to become inaccessible for a 24-hour period. The users described the app as displaying a blank white screen, and they were unable to log out or access any of the regular features, as noted by Tesla North readers such as Cliff.
Despite their attempts to rectify the issue, such as removing Apple Music from their music sources and rebooting the Media Control Unit (MCU) multiple times, the problem persisted. This inconvenience was widespread among Tesla owners who utilized the Apple Music app. This isn’t the first time the Apple Music app has crapped out on Tesla vehicles as the app has been glitchy ever since it debuted back in December.
Fortunately, the release of the recent Tesla software update, 2023.7.10, appears to have addressed and resolved this issue. Users reported that after installing the update, normal functionality of the Apple Music service in their Tesla vehicles was restored.
Multiple Tesla owners confirmed that following the update, they were prompted to reauthorize their Apple Music accounts and the app resumed normal operation. So there you have it, if Apple Music isn’t working in your Tesla, let’s hope the 2023.7.10 software update comes soon to fix the issue.
I am going to counter and say no. My Apple Music still works poorly on 7.10 with an Intel mcu. I get often blank screens and spinning play back. So tesla needs to seriously fix the Intel mcu

While those with the latest AMD Ryzen CPU seem to have had better luck with this fix, those on the Intel chip still are dealing with the Apple Music problem despite 2023.7.10.
While we have Apple Music support in Tesla vehicles, the next natural addition should be Apple TV+ to Tesla Theater, bringing even more streaming video services to the vehicle platform. Hopefully that is in the works, right Elon?
