SpaceX Debuts Starlink Twitter Account on May the 4th [VIDEO]
With SpaceX CEO Elon Musk owning Twitter, his companies continue to expand their presence on the social network.
There’s now a dedicated @Starlink Twitter account, following in the footsteps of the @TeslaCharging and @Tesla_Megapack accounts, for example.
The new Starlink Twitter account debuted on Thursday and its verification label shows it’s part of SpaceX. The account was created back in November 2020 it says.
The first tweet is reiterating how Starlink Maritime is “is available for boats of all sizes, not just autonomous spaceport droneships,” said tongue-in-cheek, referring to the ships that SpaceX’s reliable Falcon 9 rocket lands on in the ocean.

As of writing, followers of the @Starlink account have grown rapidly and now sit at 2,028, but expect that number to grow exponentially as the word gets out.
Earlier today, SpaceX launched another batch of 56 Starlink satellites to low-Earth orbit on May the 4th, with Falcon 9 landing on the drone ship A Shortfall of Gravitas, its seventh launch and landing. The Starlink mission took place from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.
