Tesla has officially debuted its Model S and Model X electric vehicles (EVs) in the new “Ultra Red” colorway in Taiwan, as noted by @Tslachan on Twitter.
On Thursday, April 20, Tesla unveiled the Model S in Ultra Red at its service center in the Neihu District of Taipei City. As of Friday, Tesla is showcasing the new Model S at major showrooms across Taiwan.
Tesla introduced the new Ultra Red colorway for the Model S/X in March, replacing the old Red Multi-Coat option. Ultra Red looks to be a slightly deeper shade of red than its predecessor, and it also costs slightly more (in the U.S., Ultra Red debuted for $3,000 USD — $500 more than the $2,500 sticker price for Red Multi-Coat).
