Tesla Unveils Model 3 Long Range RWD for UK B2B Customers
Tesla is making strides in the electrification of Europe’s commercial vehicle fleets with the introduction of the Model 3 Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) for its business-to-business (B2B) customers in the United Kingdom.
This new variant is specifically designed to cater to the unique needs of commercial clients, combining an industry-leading range of 394 miles (WLTP) with convenient charging options, starting at a competitive price point of £46,990.
The Model 3 Long Range RWD is aimed at commercial fleet operations, as its extended range and access to Tesla’s extensive Supercharger network ensure seamless operations for even the most demanding fleet users. The efficient powertrain provides both swift acceleration and a smooth, comfortable ride, setting a new standard for range and performance in the segment.
Orders for the new Model 3 variant are now being accepted through Tesla’s B2B channels, with deliveries scheduled to begin in June. Businesses interested in learning more about Tesla’s offerings can visit the company’s website or reach out to Tesla, according to the company’s Senior Key Account Manager, Karen Bowen.
Other European countries such as Belgium will also soon get access to Tesla B2B fleets, confirmed Bowen on LinkedIn. This model is only available to fleets and not regular consumers. Many consumers commented in response they would have liked Tesla to offer this Model 3 RWD Long Range for regular customers.
By adopting an all-electric fleet, companies can significantly reduce their environmental impact while also benefiting their drivers and fleet managers. The new Model 3 Long Range RWD is yet another step in Tesla’s mission to accelerate the global transition to sustainable energy and transportation.
