Thomas Schäfer, CEO of Volkswagen Passenger Cars, said, “With the ID.7, we are taking the next step in our electric offensive. Enhanced assistance systems, such as the Travel Assist with swarm data, enable the ID.7 to take over lateral and longitudinal control as needed, significantly reducing the strain of driving. The ID.7 is part of Volkswagen’s accelerated electric offensive, with ten new electric models set to launch by 2026, further expanding the company’s range of electric vehicles.
