Polestar has announced plans to reveal its latest vehicle, the Polestar 4, at the Shanghai auto show on April 18, 2023. The new addition to the company’s lineup reimagines the SUV coupé for the electric era, combining the aerodynamics of a coupé with the spaciousness of an SUV, enhanced by cutting-edge technology, it said in a press release on Tuesday.
Design elements and sustainability features previously seen in Polestar’s concept cars will make their debut in the Polestar 4. The electric SUV coupé is also set to become the fastest production car in Polestar’s range.
Thomas Ingenlath, Polestar CEO, said in a statement, “Polestar 4 is not simply a modified version of our first SUV. Instead, we reconsidered the entire design to create a new breed of SUV coupé.”
The Shanghai auto show attendees can visit Polestar at stand 6B07 in Hall 6.2, where the Polestar 4 will be showcased alongside the Polestar 3 and the recently updated Polestar 2, both making their first public appearances in China.
