SpaceX: Starship Launch Rehearsal Next Week, Flight Test Week After if Approved
SpaceX has fully-stacked its Starship rocket and says it is now working towards a rehearsal next week for its first orbital launch, then an actual flight test about a week later, if FAA approval is received.
“Starship fully stacked at Starbase. Team is working towards a launch rehearsal next week followed by Starship’s first integrated flight test ~week later pending regulatory approval,” said SpaceX on Thursday.
SpaceX also shared some more incredible pictures of Starship fully-stacked on top of its Booster, down at Starbase in Boca Chica, Texas.

Two weeks from now would be April 20, or 4/20, a number and date that SpaceX CEO Elon Musk has joked about before, referring to the cannabis culture slang. If Starship was to launch on April 20 at 4:20pm, SpaceX would likely break the internet.

Musk later added, “Starship is stacked & ready to launch next week, pending regulatory approval.”
