Tesla Launches Model S and X Orders in South Korea
Tesla has kicked off orders for its Model S and Model X in South Korea, which comes after the first deliveries of these vehicles debuted in mainland China.
Available to order are Long Range and Plaid versions of the Model S and Model X. Pricing is as follows…
- Model S – 124,490,000 KRW
- Model S Plaid – 137,490,000 KRW
- Model X – 139,490,000 KRW
- Model X Plaid – 153,490,000 KRW
Since Model S and Model X are manufactured at Tesla’s Fremont factory in California, options such as the newest Ultra Red paint are available, along with the choice of a regular steering wheel instead of the futuristic yoke.
According to sources speaking with Tesla North, some who have ordered are already seeing a “ready for delivery” status within their mobile app. It seems that Tesla might be delivering these by the second quarter, possibly.
Tesla earlier tonight shared a picture of the Model S at the 2023 Seoul Mobility Show, which kicked off on March 30 and goes until April 9, 2023, located at KINTEX 1, Goyang City, GyeongGi Province.
Tesla is also offering up a contest to have two winners rent a Model S or Model X for free (2 days and 1 night), from May to mid-June.
