2022.44.2 Release Notes: Tesla Sentry Mode Gets New Features
Tesla has started rolling out its 2022.44.2 software update, as noted by @Teslascope and @TeslaFi fleets on Friday evening.
As for 2022.44.2 release notes? There are new Sentry Mode features, according to Not a Tesla App.
Sentry Mode gets new customization options in 2022.44.2, including:
- Camera-Based Detection, which allows users to disable the use of cameras to detect threats. Also available are the use of external cameras and sensors to detect security events when parked. There’s an option to disable this so that only physical threats to your car will save video clips to the USB drive. You can change this by going to Controls > Safety > Sentry Mode > Camera-Based Detection.
- Sentry Mode Clip Length, which allows users to specify the length of the clip when a potential threat is detected.
Tesla owners can change these Sentry Mode settings by going to Controls > Safety > Sentry Mode in their vehicle settings.
Also new are Seat Belt Enhancements, where seat belts will pre-tension thanks to Tesla Vision ahead of any frontal crashes, also available for the Model S/X refresh in China and Model 3/Y.
2022.44.2 also includes the addition of Thai language support, ahead of Tesla’s launch in the Asian nation.
According to @greentheonly, other 2022.44.2 release notes include the addition of the new Energy app for Model 3/Y and refresh Model S/X in Hong Kong.
