SpaceX announced on Monday it has launched its Starlink satellite internet service in Jamaica.

According to the Starlink global coverage map, Jamaica is now showing as “available”. Neighbouring Haiti has yet to debut Starlink, but the Dominican Republic does have the satellite internet service.

Earlier this month, it was reported Starlink was coming soon to Jamaica, as the nation’s technology minister had signed off and approved a license for the service.

During the first week of October, Starlink launched in Hawaii and recently Elon Musk’s teams enabled Starlink service in Iran, with many kits to use the internet service already being shared on social media, proving they have made their way into the nation.

SpaceX has tentative plans to launch its Starlink Group 4-31 mission on Thursday, October 27, with the latter date set to be finalized soon.
