Tesla Q3 2022: Record 343,830 Deliveries and 365,923 Cars Made

Tesla has announced its production and delivery numbers for Q3 2022.
The company said it produced over 365,000 cars and delivered a record 343,830 vehicles in the third quarter.
“Historically, our delivery volumes have skewed towards the end of each quarter due to regional batch building of cars. As our production volumes continue to grow, it is becoming increasingly challenging to secure vehicle transportation capacity and at a reasonable cost during these peak logistics weeks,” said Tesla.
Model S/X saw 19,935 cars made and Model 3/Y saw 345,988 vehicles made.
The company said in Q3, “we began transitioning to a more even regional mix of vehicle builds each week, which led to an increase in cars in transit at the end of the quarter. These cars have been ordered and will be delivered to customers upon arrival at their destination.”

Tesla will share its Q3 financial results on Wednesday, October 19, 2022.
