SpaceX launched yet another batch of Starlink satellites into low Earth orbit on Sunday.
This morning, the company’s Falcon 9 rocket sent 53 more Starlink satellites into orbit at 10:20 am ET, from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.
This particular Falcon 9 rocket successfully launched and landed for the 13th time. It previously launched Dragon’s first crew demonstration mission, the RADARSAT Constellation Mission, SXM-7, and now 10 Starlink missions.
SpaceX says this was the company’s 52nd Starlink mission overall, with the satellite internet service now live in nearly 40 markets worldwide.
This was the 124th landing of a Falcon 9 first stage and SpaceX’s 31st launch of the year, matching all of 2021’s launches and it’s only July, said the company.

One of them, European chipmaker STMicroelectronics, has revealed just how massive its role in the satellite internet network has become — and how much bigger it’s about to get. According to Reuters, STMicro has shipped more than 5 billion radio-frequency antenna […]
