New Pull-Through Tesla Supercharger Coming to Columbus, Ohio
Tesla is set to construct a new Supercharger in Columbus, Ohio, at 179 East Campus View Blvd, as detailed by Canadian Tesla Supercharger enthusiast, @MarcoRPTesla.
The new pull-through Supercharger will include 16 V3 charging stalls and looks to be the first of its kind on the U.S. east coast.
According to the permit seen by Tesla North, this pull-through style Supercharger will have three rows with four chargers and a fifth with two chargers, making up for 16 total. This pull-through style allows for drivers to pull straight through instead of reversing in, as seen at typical Superchargers.
This new Supercharger in Columbus is located next to several amenities, including a Chipotle Mexican Grill, Woodys Wing House and HC Way Chinese restaurant.
A recent Supercharger of the same style was recently seen in Poiters, France, with 28 stalls, but with a layout that looks to support non-Tesla vehicles to park properly and charge.
Last month, Tesla announced it hit a milestone of 35,000 Supercharger connectors worldwide. The company will announce new numbers at its Q2 earnings set for next week.
