Tesla App Now Lets You Set Custom Work Charging Rates
In an update to the Tesla iOS app on Thursday, the electric automaker now lets you set customizable charging rates for your work.
Under the section ‘Charge Stats’, when you scroll down to ‘Average Cost’ and click on the information icon in the top right corner, you’ll now see a “Customize” option for Work.
Tap ‘Work’, then tap the ‘Work’ section again to bring up the custom charging cost setting.
“We can show you more accurate spending and savings insights tailored to you. All we need to know is what you pay,” says Tesla.
Tesla owner and FSD beta tester @brandonee916 showed off his updated Charge Stats graph, after inputting his work charging rates:

Back in January, Tesla’s mobile app was updated with the Charge Stats section and also the ability to set custom charging rates for Home Charging and Other locations. But now it’s possible to set Work Charging as well.
This feature update should be making its way to the Tesla Android app as well. Let us know what you’re seeing right now.
