
GMC today announced ‘Extract Mode’ is coming soon to its Hummer EV, which allows the pickup to “activate its adaptive Air Ride Suspension to raise approximately 6” and overcome tough obstacles in its path.”
The automaker says Extract Mode will be arriving in an upcoming software update. There are various modes for the Hummer EV when it comes to ground clearance, with Standard mode offering fording up to 26” of water, Terrain mode at 28” of water and Extract Mode allowing traversing up to 32” of water.

According to The Driven, the GMC Hummer EV will receive a software update in the next few weeks for its First Edition models, as part of a free software update.
The GMC Hummer EV also features a CrabWalk mode, allowing the car to drive diagonally.

The Hummer EV Edition 1 comes with a starting price of $110,295 USD. The Hummer EV3x priced from $104,650 USD is expected to launch in fall 2022.
