YouTube channel Everyday Astronaut has released the third video of its recent interview with SpaceX CEO Elon Musk. The channel has had unprecedented access to Musk in the past, and the latest video dives into the history of SpaceX’s Merlin engine, used to power the company’s Falcon 1, Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy rockets.
The video sees Musk talk about some of the early Merlin design decisions and how the engine has evolved, says Everyday Astronaut.
“The next and final part will be a long long deep dive and tour of Raptor 2. We’re making an accompany video for that part to help explain a few of the things we talked about and compare Raptor 1 to Raptor 2. Those will be out in about 2 more weeks,” added Everyday Astronaut.
