Tesla recently increased the price of its Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), hiking the price from $75 USD to $95 USD, a $20 USD increase. The price for one set now costs $380 USD, or $80 USD more than before, a 26% increase.

“This product is the original Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) equipped with Tesla vehicles,” reads the product description. Once installed, all a customer needs to do is drive their vehicle and the TPMS automatically enables and pairs with your Tesla vehicle via Bluetooth. No setup is needed.

Tesla customers normally purchase a second set of TPMS sensors for their extra winter wheel and tire setups.

The price change was made by Tesla back on May 13, the same day Tesla removed the 2012-2020 Model S 21-inch Turbine Wheel and Tire package from its online store.

Other recent changes to the Tesla online store recently include the removal of the My First Model Y toy on May 18 which was priced at $100 USD; on May 20, the Model 3 Air Filter was renamed to Model 3/Y Air Filter.

Back on May 12, Tesla removed the men’s t-shirt “Yes Haha” (the image you see when you place a Tesla vehicle order) and also the diecast 1:18 scale Model S.
