
Tesla released its Full Self-Driving beta 10.11.2 yesterday, and tester Chuck Cook has shared his latest video putting the beta software to the test when it comes to unprotected left turns.
Cook’s ongoing testing of FSD beta and unprotected left turns continues to improve for his viewership. There’s a view of what you’re seeing on Cook’s Tesla display and FSD visuals, plus a bird’s eye view of what’s happening from a drone in the sky.
So just how does FSD beta 10.11.2 fare when it comes to this busy intersection and unprotected left turns? It wasn’t great, as FSD beta still creeps too far into the intersection, plus proceeds into lanes slowly when it shouldn’t. Cook has nerves of steel to resist intervening until the very last minute.
While FSD beta 10.11.2 does have some success, the video shows there’s still a lot of work to be done when it comes to unprotected left turns during rush hour traffic. Check out Cook’s video below:
