Tesla 2022.4.5.17 Update Release Notes

Tesla started rolling out its 2022.4.5.17 software update on late Wednesday evening, as noted by third-party software @Teslascope.

The update was seen on all Tesla vehicles, including Model S, Model X, Model 3 and Model Y, in Australia, the U.S., UK, Canada and Europe.

Most vehicles receiving the Tesla 2022.4.5.17 update were coming from 2022.4.5.3 released back on February 15, 2022.

You can see the update for Cabin Camera is to “help Tesla improve the intelligence of features that rely on cabin camera by sharing analytics from your vehicle.” According to @axlaxl7, the feature defaults to “yes” and they had to disable it manually.

Also part of this update, which looks the same as before: Regenerative Braking in Autopilot, Car Colorizer, Windshield Wiper Defrost and Save Dashcam Clips.
