Tesla Reportedly Hints Model S Plaid in China Could Be Coming Soon

Tesla has stopped taking orders outside of North American for its new Model S and Model X refresh, but that hasn’t stopped one delivery center in China from teasing the new electric sedan could be coming soon.

As spotted by @42how_, the Hangzhou Tesla Delivery Center reportedly shared a poster with a picture of the Model S refresh.

Google Translate of the poster text reads, “about to open a mysterious journey. We sincerely invite car customers to come and check in.” The poster seems to suggest a Model S refresh will sook makes its way into the showroom, hinting at future Model S refresh availability.

Currently, Tesla’s Gigafactory in Shanghai only produces the Model 3 and Model Y. Any Model S and Model X refresh vehicles would be coming from Tesla’s Fremont factory in California.
