Tesla has launched snow chains for its Model S refresh, versions of the sedan produced in 2021 or later.
“The König K-Summit XL K55 Max Snow Chains provide excellent traction and durability in snowy conditions,” explains Tesla. “With no complex attachments, the newly upgraded design simply requires one fixing point on the outer side of the drive wheels. The fitting system has been pre-configured for Model S 19” wheels,” says the company.
These snow chains are priced at $550 USD and come with the following features:

Tread chain with alternating injection-molded plastic plates with hard metal studs and steel chain
Welded bars for better grip and performance
Foldable arms for easy storage
The set includes:
1x pair of chains for two wheels
1x nylon protective bag
Tesla’s existing set of snow chains for Model S (2012-2020) cost $420 USD and are König K-Summit K45 snow chains.
