Lucid Air Dream Edition Delivery Date: October 30 at Special Event in California

Following glowing first reviews for the Lucid Air Dream Edition, the company is officially set to deliver the first units of the vehicle to its customers later this month.

The Lucid Air Dream Edition will reportedly deliver its first units to customers later this month at an October 30 delivery event, held at Lucid’s California headquarters, according to a few sources who reported the news to @Sawyer Merritt.

In addition, Lucid Air Dream Edition reservation holders have apparently begun to receive their VINs, and have been contacted for the event, featuring an official invitation from Lucid.

According to the invitation, the event will require proof of COVID-19 vaccination, and will feature a welcome breakfast, a demo and tour of the company’s headquarters, as well as a delivery rally drive through nearby areas of California. The event is set to run from 8:15 a.m. to 2 p.m. on October 30, in Newark, California.

Last month, Lucid previewed its factory in Casa Grande, Arizona, just weeks before the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) rated the Lucid Air Dream Edition for 520 miles of range.

The Lucid Air Dream Edition, or the launch edition of the vehicle, sold out nearly immediately after becoming available in March.
