After launching a Twitter account for its Tesla Superchargers, the electric automaker has quietly launched an account for its solar products including Powerwall.
The new @TeslaSolar account has a description that reads, “Produce & store your own energy with Solar Roof, Solar Panels & Powerwall,” with a link to Tesla’s solar roof product (via @SawyerMerritt).
As it stands, the account only follows 5 others, but has 1,374 followers as of writing.

How do we know if this account is legitimate or not? Earlier this afternoon, @Tesla followed the @TeslaSolar account.

The @TeslaSolar account also follows Tesla site Teslarati, which CEO Elon Musk frequently reads and replies to on Twitter.
