Entry Tesla Model 3, Model Y Orders Now Showing March 2022 Delivery for Canada, USA

A few Tesla North readers have let us know new orders of the Tesla’s Model 3 and Model Y are seeing delivery dates well into next year, showing March 2022.
For the Standard Range Plus Model 3 and Long Range Model Y, both entry versions are showing estimated delivery dates of March 2022 in both Canada and the United States.

For the Model 3, Long Range and Performance versions are showing estimated delivery dates of December and November, respectively.
For the Model Y, the Performance version is showing estimated delivery of November. In a nutshell, if you want your Tesla sooner, rather than later, it’s time to open your wallet. It may be worth placing an order today just to hold your place in line, if you’re on the fence.
Earlier this month, entry Model 3 and Model Y estimated delivery dates were pushed back to February 2022. In less than 30 days, dates have pushed back further by another month. Clearly, the global semiconductor shortage, supply chain pressures and demand are making it difficult to produce Tesla vehicles, it seems.
Tesla recently ended its referral program, to no longer offer free 1,000 Supercharging miles when you purchase a car using a friend’s link. But referral links still work for solar products.

Tesla is prioritizing the production of Performance with many unwilling to wait..and as more Performance getting built, the longer wait time for LR models..
