During tonight’s Tesla Model S Plaid special event at the company’s Fremont factory in California, CEO Elon Musk went over the specs and features again of its newest sedan.
Musk is well-known for listening to Tesla customers, especially when they are heckling him from the audience. When many shouted for “waypoints”, Musk paused before finally giving in to the feature for its navigation system.
Waypoints would let Tesla customers enter multiple destinations in one trip.
“Does everybody here want waypoints? Fine, we’ll do waypoints. God damn it, alright”, conceded Musk with tongue in cheek.
This isn’t the first time Musk has promised waypoints would be coming to Tesla’s navigation system.
Back in September 2020, Musk said, “fine, we’ll do it already”, during a conversation on Twitter about waypoints.
So waypoints are still coming, but of course, it’s going to be on “Elon time”.
