Petro-Canada traditionally offers gas stations across Canada, but the company has built out its own nationwide electric vehicle fast charge network, available “every 250 km or less from Halifax, N.S. to Victoria, B.C.”
Now, there’s a way to get free EV charging from Petro-Canada if you have an eligible RBC credit card. An emailed offer was sent out saying those RBC credit cards linked to the Petro-Canada card can get free EV charging. All you do is pay for EV charging with your RBC credit card and you’ll get a refund on your credit card statement online.

Petro-Canada EV chargers have CCS and CHAdeMO connectors, so if you have an adapter, you’ll be able to charge your Tesla for free for one year. Not a bad offer at all.
