Tesla iPhone App Updated with Model S Refresh Images
Tesla’s iOS app was updated today and with it, new assets have appeared within the underlying code of the app for Apple iPhone users, as shared by @Tesla_Adri on Friday afternoon.
“I’ve just looked into the new Tesla iOS App. It contains the new Model S Assets, no new Model X Assets. Also, Model S and X will get the keycard. The new climate control layout is also there. (Note, doors and wheels are seperate assets and will be put together individually),” said @Tesla_Adri.
The assets show off images what upcoming Model S refresh owners will see when they load the iOS app.

Also found was a battery back image, with @Tesla_Adri saying, “There is also something called ghost-<mx/ms/m3>-battery-pack. No idea whats this about, don’t know this asset from the app.”
Tesla hacker @greentheonly responded, “in car assets ghost is what you see for when the car is charging so there’s semi-transparent car and the battery pack that you see is being “filled””.
Both @thegreenonly and @Tesla_Adri believe a new app refresh is coming soon, as seen in a teaser from Tesla’s recent Powerwall video. The update to include Model S refresh images likely suggests we are close to the new electric vehicle delivering soon.
