Tesla has launched Model Y Paint Protection Film (PPF) in its online shop, available for the rear doors of the SUV.
“Protect your Model Y from snow, salt, sand and small debris with the Model Y Paint Protection Film. Protect your paint from stone chips and driving conditions that can accelerate wear and tear,” explains Tesla.
The kit includes two pieces of clear protective film for the rear fenders and one squeegee to apply it yourself.
The debut of PPF for the Model Y may hint factory mudflaps could be coming next.
You can click here to buy Tesla’s Model Y Paint Protection Film online, priced at $50 USD. You can also check out our Tesla North Deals partners here to find third-party PPF kits for your Tesla.
