Lucid Motors has shared updates today to its prospective customers, detailing a new Lucid Studio is now open in Miami, Florida, while its Beta 2 fleet has started its testing.
The new Lucid Studio in Miami is located at Brickell City Centre, at 701 S Miami Ave Suite 129A. The new store joins three existing stores in California: Newark, Beverly Hills, and San Jose. Customers can check out the Lucid Air and also reserve a vehicle in person.
Lucid also noted it is has reached its Beta 2 testing phase for its vehicles, which started in September, taking place in Casa Grande, Arizona, home to a new factory.
“Along with testing durability, chassis tuning, crash safety, and verifying that the production cars will meet or exceed all of its targets, with Beta 2s, we’re fine-tuning the Lucid experience,” said Lucid, which expects production to start in spring 2021.
The company also released a 5-part documentary known as the ‘Heart & Mind’, “giving a deeper look into the design thinking at Lucid.” You can see the film below:
Lucid Air is available starting from $69,900 USD after federal tax credit, says the company, and can be reserved for $300 USD.
