Let’s take a look at the newest U.S. Supercharger locations that have opened their stalls to Tesla owners right around the holidays, courtesy of data from Supercharge and the patrons of the TMC Forums:

Dec. 23, 2020 The Travel Plaza II at 5249 West 3650 South, Cedar City, UT 4 150 kW Tesla

The Knoxville, TN, location that went live on Dec. 22 is actually a temporary urban Supercharger installation, as reported on the TMC Forums. The purpose of having a temporary installation is to help with increased traffic in the area around the holidays, and the Superchargers should be removed sometime after.

With even Tesla’s work crews slowing down for the holidays, we only see 5 new Superchargers going live this week as opposed to 8 last week.

Two of the five new Supercharger locations, however, are a large 16-stall V3 Supercharger installation and a massive 20-stall urban Supercharger project.
