Tesla 2020.48.12.1 Software Update Rolling Out: What’s New

Tesla has started rolling out its 2020.48.12.1 software update to the fleet on Thursday evening, to vehicles in the United States, according to @teslafi.

According to hacker @greentheonly, “2020.48.12 is rolling out that enables the extra range for Model Year 2021 model 3 cars (SR and LR-dualmotor)”.

The update means Tesla “just increase displayed miles to “better reflect battery capacity”, says @greentheonly, adding Model Y would presumably get this added later at some point.
