Tesla 2020.40.8.12 FSD Beta Update: What’s New [VIDEO]
Tesla has released a new software update for its Full Self-Driving beta testers, as 2020.40.8.12 is now available. Tesla released this update on late Friday evening.
What’s new in Tesla software update 2020.40.8.12 for FSD beta testers? There’s a new graphical user interface, showing more animations for your Tesla, while select buttons are tweaked for the display.
Also, the left side of the display is now a bit larger to show FSD beta visualizations in greater view. This slight tweak means the map on the right is now a bit smaller.
Check out the video below from Tesla Raj detailing the major changes in 2020.40.8.12 for FSD beta testers:
As for Tesla Model S and X, here’s the new full screen FSD beta interface on the main dash display, going full screen for FSD:

As this story develops we’ll update this post with 2020.40.8.12 release notes. But so far this looks like an excellent update for lucky FSD beta testers in the United States.
