Tesla has announced its Q3 2020 vehicle production and deliveries the morning, with 145,036 produced and 139,300 delivered.
The breakdown is as follows:
Model S/X
Production: 16,992
Deliveries: 15,200
Model 3/Y
Production: 128,044
Deliveries: 124,100
Tesla’s record deliveries of 139,300 beats its previous record of 112,000 vehicles in Q4 2019.
In the year-ago quarter, Tesla delivered 97,000 vehicles, so Q3 2020 is seeing a 42,300 increase, or 44%. Which is very impressive given we’re still in a pandemic situation.
“In terms of days of sales, new vehicle inventory declined further in Q3 as we continue to improve our delivery efficiency,” explained Tesla’s press release.
Tesla reiterated, “our delivery count should be viewed as slightly conservative, as we only count a car as delivered if it is transferred to the customer and all paperwork is correct. Final numbers could vary by up to 0.5% or more.”

As first reported by iPhone in Canada, the Model Y Standard Rear-Wheel Drive has now appeared on Tesla’s Canadian […]
