Tesla CEO Elon Musk has hyped up the company’s highly anticipated Battery Day, saying this morning on Twitter to expect “many exciting things” to be revealed later this month.
“Many exciting things will be unveiled on Battery Day 9/22”, said Musk on Friday morning.
Tesla’s Battery Day presentation will take place after the company’s annual shareholders meeting on September 22, 2020.
Last month, Musk said on Twitter batteries capable of 400 Wh/kg with high cycle life, produced in volume, is not far away, claiming a timeline of three to four years. Many expect Tesla to possibly unveil a ‘million-mile’ battery and other potential upgrades.
Stay tuned as we approach Battery day on September 22, with the latter being invite-only through a randomized draw. The event will be held at Tesla’s facility at 901 Page Avenue in Fremont, California, while the event will be streamed live on the web as well.
