BCIT Students Create Electric Vehicle Charging Etiquette Videos

As the demand for electric vehicles (EVs) continues to grow, we need to become more informed about how this new technology works. Many first-time electric vehicle owners have to get accustomed to the new charging mechanics, so it would be extremely helpful to have some kind of guide.

British Columbia is already known to heavily advocate for the use of electric vehicles. It should come as no surprise that the Burnaby British Columbia’s Institute of Technology (BCIT) has begun working on an EV-related project.

They will create three short animated videos for charging electric vehicles as reported by BurnabyNow. Three BCIT Digital Design and Development students will be working on this project, which is now being developed during the pandemic.

One of the BCIT students Tasha Vithaya expressed her thoughts on the project:

“I am very happy with the final product our team created for the EV Etiquette project. Working in a small team to create these videos provided me with invaluable experience which I know will help me in the future.”

These animation videos will be created as part of the EV Etiquette project, which should definitely help convince more people to invest in electric vehicles. The animation videos will definitely be a valuable educational resource for the general public, as well as car dealerships and other stakeholders.
