Elon Musk Teases New Tesla Color, Release Date for Anticipated Autopilot Feature
Tesla has always allowed users to customize their vehicles, with limited color selection. Earlier today, Elon Musk replied to a Twitter user and revealed that Giga Berlin would roll out a “deep crimson” shade as a paint option.

As of right now, there is a red multi-coat option for Tesla vehicles. As reported by Teslarati, Musk already had plans for Giga Berlin to include a lot of paint customization. He tweeted about this back in April:
Giga Berlin will have world’s most advanced paint shop, with more layers of stunning colors that subtly change with curvature

This isn’t all though. Another Twitter user asked whether Autopilot would be able to change lanes automatically while going to a destination. Elon Musk announced that it already does that in the alpha build:
In a few months in production release. Already does that in alpha build.

The Autopilot feature has so far only been recommended for restricted use, for private roads and certain highways. This is advertised as “coming soon” on the Tesla website when ordering the Full Self-Driving option for Autopilot. Drivers should always be ready to take over in case anything goes wrong.
Last Thursday, Elon Musk attended the World Artificial Conference online. He was confident in saying that the self-driving feature of Tesla vehicles would be perfected before the end of the year.
