With all the recent news regarding Tesla’s first quarter earnings report and CEO Elon Musk’s antics, it may be easy to forget about the recent launch of the Model Y. However, the compact electric sport utility vehicle is still receiving reviews and coverage. In one of the most notable review videos to date, acclaimed auto appraiser Kelley Blue Book reviews the Tesla Model Y.

The video uses a customer model to showcase some of the vehicle’s features. Of course, the vehicles impressive range and 0-60 mph times are mentioned to kick things off. Kelley Blue Book seems quite impressed with the minimal approach to the vehicle’s interior design features. There’s also mention of the ample space offered throughout the cabin thanks to the new glass roof. Reclining back seats also provide passengers with extra comfort, especially when compared to the seats of the Model 3.

An overview of the vehicle’s software features does an excellent job of pointing out some often-overlooked features. For example, within the climate controls for the Model Y, there’s a Dog mode that’s suited for transporting animals. Security modes such as Sentry Mode highlight the vehicle’s dedication to security at all levels.

All in all, Kelley Blue Book delivers a positive review for the Model Y. The attractive price point, efficiency ratings, and performance all contribute to an excellent profile of Tesla’s latest electric vehicle.
